Wires!!

So today I manned up and made sense of the gauge wires. Speedhut supports us well by giving us options galore. The terminal blocks are a great feature. Plenty of wire is supplied for both the basic power and the sensors. I ran all wire up and over the steering column mount and shielded them as well. The green and white wire is the one to tap into for purposes of dimming the gauge lights at night.

Nice love the wiring.....I just finished similar for my e30...

I’ve been getting after the 4x4Labs front bumper kit. The instructions I take for suggestions. Since I am not a pro welder I need to be in a favorable position to make a good weld. Like everything I build I am building this bumper from the bottom up and the inside out.

You are not sweating enough for all that welding!
Don’t let my face fool you. At 59 years old I skip rope for 20 minutes, pile on the weight and Love my super hot Brazilian wife. There is no time for cardio.

After church we went to the gym and while I was dashing toward In and Out burger post workout ( protein matters) she searched and discovered In and Out is closed on Easter Sunday! ❤️ So we came home and I scrambled up several eggs. Yes they were delicious!
Since then I’ve been breathing smoke bc someone is burning brush and the results are descending on my garage.
I recognized welds done yesterday (I get in a hurry) that were not looking as pretty as I’d expect so I dug in and piled on a few more beads. These efforts may have done nothing other that increase the number of grinding wheels I’ll have to buy🤨 but I think the bumper will be able

looking good bro!

looking good bro!
This bumper kit is indexed well but not so tightly that we can’t fudge here and there. Honestly, I never liked this front bumper but this time around it checked all of the practical boxes. So I looked at photos of it until my brain curved around it and decided it would be a proper fit.

i cant wait to see it installed. Looks like it will get good clearance and good approach angle.
