Great work, Steve. I’m looking forward to the first crank up video. The next time you’re in my neighborhood bring me those sliders bro.
Fat chance

So the hydrobooster presents challenges to factory mounting positions. The ignition ignitor mounted beneath those copper brake lines from the factory. Being that I want at least factory integrity I found a spot where to solidly mount this expensive ignitor.

For the record: one each new OEM ignition coil going in to assure reliability and deliver the best possible spark.

Things are becoming rapidly more complicated as I fit hoses into an already crowded space where these hoses were not figured for. As an A&P I realize wire and conduit routing decides our happiness.

Get It done already :bored:
I’m doing this diligently. Funny thing is I’m still on the fence about ever returning to the hammers. Today I’m doing cruiser crap and smoking ribs for tomorrows potluck at work. I have to be there bc the flying public can’t sit still.

Might be a good idea to skip the hammers.😵‍💫

Ive lost count how many times a pax is surprised and say “I can believe they make you work on (name the holiday)!”
As they are the ones buying tickets to fly on the holidays 😂😂

Do you work for the Eskimos btw?

Routing conductors seems to be a passion for me. Once upon a time I was in a rush. Now upon a time I’m not. It took 22 hours but the hoses are in a place where they won’t rub through. I think the hydro-assist is next. Plumbing is paramount.

Looking great!

Today was perfect garage time. Rather warm temps with drizzle. Lets back up to Yesterdays activities. I cleaned the otherwise pretty clean gas tank using a mixer of CLR and 4 gallons of vinegar. Worked well…

This morning my intention was to assemble the fuel tank unit. With new pump and level sensor. All went as expected until I realized that the J30R10 submersible fuel hose I bought was 1/4” when what’s required is 5/16”. Do the math if mm matters. Amazon is not my go to but through them I can have a foot of 5/16 here tomorrow.

So I moved on to the core support support and the radiator. Surprisingly, the OEM radiator arrived displaying 50% unsecured foam rubber. Off to town I went.. coming home with Gorilla brand contact adhesive meant I would win! And I did win!

Oh yeah, I have three fan shrouds, three are cracked. Check yours.
