I'm planning to use it for my rotisserie.

For anyone folowing this tread a small update.
Painted the frame, floor and sides, where they connect, with epoxy. Started to weld in the frame when the gas ran out.

Got a new job starting next month so I have to finish up this one this week, a trip to Swiss, before I have 2 weeks off.
One week is cruisertime and the other is for the :princess:.
I'll be posting lots of pics and progres, I hope next week.

The guys at my new job are going to calculate the strength for my rotisery design so I can order the steel to build it.

glad to see you back on the cruiser .. keep up the good work

What he said!
Youre spending too much time thinkin about my JUNK and not enough on your OWN!:flipoff2:

Michael:

That chop saw is not a "toy." It is an essential piece of shop equipment. I know mine has paid for itself MANY times over at this point. Yours should too (or at least, it "should" if you have to explain it to the :princess:).

Very nice! A rotisserie would be super helpful, that's for sure!

Thanx guys, glad I'm not writing down stuff for someone finding my tread in 5 years. Not that that would be bad but I do like to know it is read when I am still working on it. As for spending not enough time, it was to cold for epoxy up until last weekend and my job required me to travel around so the :princess: needed some attention to.
And Keith your junk I can think about during work so that is easyer then phisicaly working on the cruiser.
But like I wrote I have a new job from the first of April and just finished the old one today comming back from Swiss, which is kinda nice to visit. So you guys can expect some more input from me the comming week.

But now I have to get a good night sleep and get rid of the car, laptop and phone tomorow.

The cargo floor is in!!!

Finaly got the cargo floor in, including the storage area.
Also replaced the temp body mount on one side for the final one. Still have to stiffen up the frame on the inside but that can be done when the body is off.

Today I will make some attachement points for the seat brackets and weld up the cross beam.
Then attach the left side of the cargo area and start on the rest of the wheel well.

Pictures will follow later.

Lining everything up perfectly before reinforcing it.
The cargo side is a bit warped causing the rear fender to be out of line with the door post. So I braced it before continuing.

More updates tomorrow, going to bed now.;)

Got a few things done today.
Made a frame to function as a ty in for the cage and welded it in.
Also made a strut in the rear for the same reason.

Can any one help me with some measurements for the rear wheel arch.
I would like to know the sizes from the B (rear of the door) post.
Height, top to bottom, angles and length.
