I was thinking maybe one of the Cruiser companies on here would have exactly what I need .OSS posted it pretty clearly in his image. Go to Partsouq.com, put in your VIN# save the vehicle to "your garage" click on the vehicle, click on drive train, find the schematic of the transfer case, click on the part ...that OSS pointed out. A window will pop up showing you which parts are available ...click on any for an FJ60 and order it.
Ok I’ll order the stake nut also . As fas as why it’s leaking I’m assuming it’s because it’s almost 40 years old. Everything seems tight. I’ll start with just replacing the seal and nut then go from there .Here's the seal and the stake nut. You need to get a stake nut. They are a one-time use (unless you're really in a pinch).
A 1-1/4" socket fits perfect on the stake nut. If you don't have a seal puller, be really careful getting that old seal out with anything else. The new one, I tapped in with a wood block. Used FIPG on the splines when I put it all back together.
One thing that has to be asked is, "why is it leaking?" If there is play at that end of the driveshaft (try to move it up/down side/side), then you'll be doing this somewhat often because your t-case is due for a rebuild.
Search "rear output shaft" here and you'll find a lot of step-by-steps. It's not a difficult job.
