This post is creeping up on the longevity award. Nice work.

I am looking for an electrical thing that i don't know the name of to search for. I want to have a pole on either side of the fire wall that will allow me to connect a positive lead. A post that passes through the fire wall that bolts to the firewall that has an insulation so as not to ground on the firewall. Maybe it has a plastic insulator of some sort. My goal is to be able to bolt a postitve lead on the engine side and then be able to bolt a postive lead on the cabin side thus passing through the firewall. Are there different sizes. I basically want to get my positive battery post inside the cabin.

Does that make sense?

Any help out there?

I am STRUGGLING with that rear fixed window! Rush I have been looking for whose post described their struggle. I remember page 20 but not can't find whose it was. I have searched my thread thrice already. Ineptitude overwhems me. Would you remind me?

I talk about it in my build thread.
From memory more soap is more better.

Lots of soap. I bought on some rear fixed window rubber on ebay a long time ago and I might be worried that it doesn't actually fit. I am a little over an 1/8 inch away from getting the two top screws in and really does not look like I can get any more out of it, with the rear window not wanting to roll up and down. I set that one down and started and finished my other door with the old SLO rubber, alas that has been torched by the sun so it is not rewarding at all to get that done. At least I know it works.

Pretty disappointing. I have put clamps on the first with the hope that in the morning I will have stretched the rubber out enough to get it done. With luck that will work and I can replace the finished door with the new unruly ebay rubber. Fresh rubber is soooooo good to look at.

Big hopes that the big order we did is as on point as the SLO rubber!

Side note- found this rubber in the guest room, whoops! I mean the parts room. A little Easter egg thing!
Kinda sycked!
