Can an oem mechanical fuel pump pull from this tank if I use it as my main and only fuel tank?

Super cool. I want to learn more. Do you have a website?

Yes, some Mud members have reported using the OEM fuel pump only, but others with both tanks (stock & rear fuel cell) or fuel injection have used electric fuel pumps. I do offer an In-Tank fuel pump mounting kit for my tanks if interested.

Do you have anymore of those threaded inner rings? It seems like I over tightened the screws or something. I think they stripped. Do you have any made from something tougher than aluminum?

Not until I make another batch, and order one extra. Possibly easiest for you to just re-tap to a slightly larger size with new screws ???

Hello Jim I bought a tank and skid plate from you a while ago and my restoration is almost complete. I'm ready to install the tank now and would like advice on the proper DPDT switch and switching valve to use. Rather ordering blindly I would sure appreciate your guidance.
Thanks in advance
Mike

I don't have any preference on these pieces, You could just shop ebay same as I would, zillions of these listed, just look for the dealer who pays the postage.

Ha anyone installed one of these tanks? It says there are no internal baffles. That seems contrary to typical tank building for a vehicle.

If you're wanting baffling then check into fuel cell foam.
My rear fuel cell is in fact a legit fuel cell, legal for racing, racing would require fuel cell foam bricks, BUT Mud guys will not likely buy the foam bricks because (a) they cost an arm and a leg $$$, and (b) the tank is at the rear of the vehicle under the floorboard, know body is going to hear gas sloshing.
