Bumping this thread, I thought I would post this here instead of the what are you working on thread.

After the accident back in April I had a class I had to get to for school and thought I would be brave and take the 4Runner to school:

The instructors got a good kick out of it and so did some of the other techs there.
Additionally, the 4Runner itself hit a milestone on the way home, and while I have driven plenty of vehicles with over this mileage, this if the first time I have actually driven a vehicle to a quarter million miles:

I am moving from Philly area to North Carolina and want to hire a car transport to trailer my 3rd Gen 4runner and my 80.
Does anyone know or recommend any car transport companies?

There is a cruiser guy in Utah who is a broker, and has arranged many vehicle shipments for people on Mud. He's pretty much the go to guy. I've used him a few times with no complaints, but forget his name as well his Mud user name.

Ben @fireball actually has a memory and has his contact info.

Thanks
It looks like he is with Summit Auto Transportation and waiting to hear back from them.

Couldn't get a picture, but on I-83 through Harrisburg, PA yesterday I was passed by a 1-ton pickup with a wedge car trailer carrying three kei trucks and a Hi-Ace van. All three had Japanese characters on the windows in grease pen, so I'm guessing a recent import.
Interestingly, I also saw a kei truck driving down Bridge Street in New Cumberland, PA that had a Pennsylvania plate on the back of it. I had to look it up and you apparently can put an Antique tag on one. I didn't get a close enough look to see if that was what this one had, though.

theres at least two on the road over in Etown

I know of a couple in the Dillsburg area, but they're farm use only.

they just do not look right with American sized people in them......like jam on the brakes and do a front roll, funny.
I've seen videos where guys weld a literal roll cage on them to do complete front flips. I want 2, one for work and one to play with.

Brian and Joe drove their 70s to the 70 Series Meet-n-Greet this weekend at Windrock. Here is a poser shot. Joe was too modest to step into frame, but his wagon had no such concerns.

As the article states, my first guess would have been something in Vegas and not Pennsylvania...

Anyone locally know of a place I can take an old gas tank to get rid of without having to cut it in half? Or able to help me cut it in half? I don't have a plasma torch or a exhaust routing hose to run into it to render it inert.

Bring it to my place. My junk guy will crush it and recycle.
Thanks for the offer, didn't see my notification. Luckily found a place down the street from me that took it. The normal scrap metal yard I take stuff to wanted me to cut it in half before they'd take it and I wasn't about to go through that much effort.
