So does PV Cruisers still exist? Dave claims that he ordered the rubber, however we havent recieved anything. Also the phone number that is listed on their website is no longer theirs.

I sent him email after email without a reply, called, left messages and got nothing. Out of desperation I placed an order on his site for cargo rubber and paid with PayPal... My cargo rubber arrived a week later with no comment.

All's well that ends well?!?!

Last I heard, he had moved to a bigger place out in the desert and was digging a new job and new home... I'm guessing he's probably trying to forget paying thousands of dollars for tooling and parts only to have the cruiser community place very few orders as a thanks to him.

I recommend everyone order at least one of ANYTHING they MIGHT ever need from him so he feels the love. That said... I don't have the money to do that either.

Good luck... and good luck to you also Seth, if you're listening. I hope you're well.

Us pig owners owe a lot to people like Seth; willing to gamble on fabricating rare parts that we will all eventually need.....Seth; thanks dude, hope things will work out for ya!

That's one of the problems with rare vehicles. I have one of each of the parts that Seth was selling as well as the parts that John at Slocruisers is selling. I don't want to be trying to find stuff only to be a month or two too late in getting the parts because the guy making them couldn't continue. I'm now still gathering parts needed for the FJ45LV, an even more difficult job than finding '55 parts. As they come available I try to get on it.

We've got to face the facts that parts for our rare trucks cost a little more than parts for a Chevy 1/2 ton. I found the cost of Seth's parts to be well with reason considering everything.

He took a new job out here near me and is doing design and engineering work on a bottled water plant, not sure of the status of his products and rigs as he was looking for shop and home but have not heard from him in a while. The construction on the plant is currently ongoing.
