I have missed out on many things in favor of being with my kids. Allows me to sleep at
night. Carson, is your son in 11th or 12th?
College circuit is fun. I have one in 11th and one in 12th. Getting 2 ready for college at the same time is keeping us busy.
100%.

I've got one in 12th and one in 10th. Pushing to get both of them to SEC schools since the wife and I both want to get back to the South eventually.

Everyone in Texas dreams of moving to Colorado, and once there you long for the south. Irony. Think summer finally ended this week anyway 🤪

Both regions have such amazing qualities. My goal is to eventually split time between the two regions if fate has it in store.

Tell them it doesn’t matter if they put Colorado plates on, we all know ya’ll from Texas as soon as a dusting of snow hits the ground

Same idea. We’ve got this year and next and then it would be nice to split somewhere. My job is remote so I have options.

AZ? TX? All I know is it better be warm.

In my part of the country they think florida plates and a SALT LIFE sticker qualifies you as a local

You forgot about the YETI sticker on everything as well.

I keep driving by this ‘75 or ‘76 the last couple of years, watching it waste away in a storage yard behind an abandoned body shop. Wonder what the best way would be to find its owner? I’m dying to bring this thing back to life. Check out the 8274 up front.

Might start with county or municipality GIS/property records to find owner. Should be a mailing address for tax bills. Maybe a long shot and certainly not as quick as jumping the fence and looking in the glove box for owner, or better yet cutting a hole, I mean it has a tow hitch already. It's gotta be a sign! It wants rescued!! I can hear that Mack bulldog on the hood calling your name.

It would be an easy “rescue” for sure. The Mack bulldog needs to run free once again! I’m gonna check county records today.

Try a property search on the county auditor website to find the owner. Someone's paying for the dumpster.

Great point about the dumpster. I guess Waste Management probably wouldn't give out their information.

I found the owner through the County and tried to call a phone number that was listed under his name, but it was disconnected.

I may stop by the tire shop next door and talk to someone next time I'm in the area.

You can search for other businesses attached to his name, as well as the obvious facebook/instagram et.al. searches and possibly track where he is now, who he may be associated with.

Like the other commenter said someone is paying for that dumpster. They are not free and that one looks like it’s been recently placed with the fresh paint.
Knocking on doors and leaving notes may be best bet to find a lead.
Good luck on the adventure. I hope it’s the start of a build thread.

Edit thinking about it, calling the dumpster company with the address might be a lead. We are renting a commercial property that is in limbo as it’s being sold in group of properties. I was able to get some info to help about a property access issue by calling the dumpster number to see who was paying for it. (Landlord had not responded in a month)
We had some issues with trash and cam resulting in litigation from a previous “landlord” (investor who was clueless). They outsourced trash and property cleanup to a “trash broker” making it exorbitant.

Well, I fell off the wagon today after swearing I'd never go bias ply again. I really missed these nasty ass tires. Insane traction, air down like nothing else, hella looks, and the hum of them slapping their way down the road. Sorry, @wngrog. Hope we can still be friends.
