He is in Hollywood right now....

Marina Del Ray technically.

Just left Venice Beach where I met my beautiful cousin for dinner.

So, this thing has a simple ignition key assembly in the firewall/dash to the left of the wheel and no key.

Is that just an autozone replacement in your opinion? Just get one, rewire and go?

Red is out all week so at night I will be able to start trying to crank the F motor if I can get it to turn over. I will pull the lower access covers and see if I can get a socket on the crank. Right now, with the cover and the shroud I cannot get a good enough grip on it to move it.

My plan is ignition switch, plugs and wires, a battery, spray some s*** in the carb and try to get it to turn over. Is that the logical steps here now that it has soaked for a week in Marvel?

That should work Nolen. It's just a damned ole tractor!

Find me a set of Aisins and you can have my Warns.

Ordered some Bilstien 5100s today.

Got the tires off, headed to 49 Tire with them tomorrow for some old school belted 700-15s

I'm convinced one of these tires is original and I want to keep it for the spare (looks not use)

The wheel where the spare was has a rotten out valve core area so it's a goner.

I'm going to get Lou's wheel and add it to my mix and buy him a new one from Beno to match his other new ones.

Two of mine are iffy at the valve core area. We may have to do tube tires but I hope not.

The brake area is hilarious. All dirt dobber and wasp nests

Stacys old rear axle was disc. I'm gonna talk to Jrob about getting that stuff in Tuesday.

Keep the old spare. It completes the look. I kept the old spare on my 78 because I thought it looked cool.

Took the 3 wheels plus one of Lou's to 49Cruisers for install of these period correct awesome

Lou let me have this. The Dunlop 78 was new. Wish they still had these around.

I got the front axle mostly off. My tie rods are garbage.

Getting the 1977 axle from WCT tomorrow. Shocks are in route.

Starting in the easy places that will be the same weather or not the engine is good or not.

Beno sends his love and lots of receipts....

Tires are mounted......well only 3. I need a 1976 or later single steel wheel.

They are only $129 new via Beno but I want one that looks roached like the rest of my wheels.

Bias ply 700-15 are mounted and pure sex

Wish I could help. I only have '74s and I am going to have to buy new when I go to discs.

Okay, I looked and I do have a set. But, if I gave you one then I would be looking for another :(

I had a thought though. Is the rust so bad that you couldn't drill out the valve stem hole to the larger .625" hole size and use a larger valve stem?
