I tried to come up with a plan today on this thing. I was so busy farming and cleaning I didn't have much time.

After vacation Red is out another week so I can stare at it more and figure stuff out.

The biggest question is the Motor.

Marvel is in. Will soak a week while I'm gone.

@beno getting me an OEM fuel tank. I'll need that whatever direction this goes.

I'm going to order some stock length Bilstein shocks. Need.

Gonna order some 700-15 bias ply period correct tires. Need

What I need from y'all if anyone has local @jrob etc.....

Front disc brakes to swap in.

Tie rod and drag link. Mine are bent.

I'd like to keep old school drive flanges so I don't need birfs. Just knuckles and brakes.

If you have F motor related stuff. I might need it.

This thing still has the protective cover under the bottom pulley so I can't try to turn the motor over manually yet.

I soaked the bolts in kroil so upon return maybe I can get it off to turn the motor.

Solid plan

I may be incorrect here, but if you swap disks in the front, you'll need to buy all new wheels, because early drum steelies are not compatable with disks. I'm sure someone more knowledgable will be along shortly though...

Dang. That's true.

i forgot about that. Maybe I can grind it....

Speaking of start this... I should have warned you that it's gonna smoke like crazy for the first few minutes if it actually starts after the MMO in the cylinder treatment. I'm sure you know that tho

Yeah. I'm a long way from that point I think but who knows.

Beno is sending a new gas tank (OEM steel) and sending unit.

I'll get a battery from
Chris and a new ignition key and see if it will crank.
