Or you can ge OEM new which is still available from Toyota.

How much more than $400 is it?

I'm going to call Brandon Radiator Monday and check and see cost. I didn't even consider them charging that much.

From Artistic Cruiser pics thread...Patina

Good afternoon and evening on the 40.

I got the expanding foam in all the weird holes around the tub and running boards.

This stuff is nuts and messy as hell.

I used it for a few reasons. I'll cover these holes from below but it won't be sealed so I wanted to eliminate the spots for mud and water to sit and corrode.

Thanks Bomar for the link

So this is my rusted our support rail under my running board. I've cleaned it and neutralized the rust. I taped it off and pumped it full of foam

Pull the tape off after an hour. Trim with a serrated knife and paint it.

So, painful as it is, I realize I'm going to have to paint some of this.

Most of this will be under the fuel tank and bench seat so the "patina" will still show.

I hate to cover the Spring Green. Even if it's just a tiny bit

This metal has been rubbed. It has been "inhibited" and now it's been painted with Rustoleum Rust Inhibitor paint.

I'm going to keep the kick panels as is.

Saturday we stab the 2F and the 4 speed and SplitCase.

I've got the truck prepped. Now I'm
Working on the 2F.

The motor is fresh from what we can tell from popping the valve cover and the guy I bought it from.

I'm tearing it apart and will replace all the hoses with OEM from Beno.

All the hard lines are off and in the parts washer overnight.

I am getting a new water pump from Beno (OEM) and hoses.

The ram flex gasket is in the mail.

Do you need a non-AC compressor motor mount?

The Turkish Express will be arriving at Tilda Bogue Saturday in the am.

The goal of the day is to mate up the drivetrain and stab it into the 40.

He is bringing all new hoses and accessories so we will likely spend the first couple hours prepping the motor...I'm thinking after lunch we will be installing the motor.

I know we have plenty of hands but anyone that would like to ride up and smoke and drink are welcome.

Beno will likely get there about 10 am. I have a wedding Saturday night but he is headed to Lou's for dinner.

If we get it all buttoned up Saturday we will then work on brake lines and resealing my front axle. Plenty to do on Sunday too if you can't come up Saturday. Hopefully that will all take place in the comforts of AC in the shop.
