Holler if you want some help patching those holes. :)

Yeah, you have another here willing to help in case you don't want to half-ass it. But I understand wanting to stick with the theme... Just kidding, I think it's coming along great

JTTMFT....soon....very soon to be father of 3 was kind enough to go get the trans and transfer from Fastnal in Vicksburg.

This is a preferred @orangefj45 method of shipping and it is by far the cheapest way to go but these people are dolts. Just don't be in a hurry or want to track it.

Now I need a Tig welder to put an ear back on my intake manifold.

@metalshaper do you still Tig?

Thank you JT. Thank you Rob for helping JT get it unloaded. I'll be down tomorrow to pick it up.

I finished up coating the frame and underbody with the Rust Prevention.

I have a can and 1/2 left. I guess I'll do the springs and axles even though I like their Patina.

This is what it looks like after curing for a few days.

Here is what it looks like as I lay it down fresh. The inside of the frame is in great shape.

This will cure nicely into that black. No paint needed but if I feel like it I might lay down some paint where it can't be seen from above

The wipers are like none I've ever seen. Not even sure you could get these without going OEM.

Beno says he sends me invoices but I never get them. Some poor sucker keeps getting spammed by the Turk.

@Racer65 has a thread in the 40 section called Unobtanium. He makes parts that are d/c by Toyota and SOR or CCOT doesn't have.

I have a funky vent in the cowl that he makes the rubber gasket and hoses for to make it operational. Otherwise it just leaks water on your feet.

I had to drill out the screws to get the plate off. I'll likely put it on with some clear silicon so I can get it off easily to clean it.

I treated the rust with my spray and slid it all together.

The vent was completely packed with dirt and leaves.

Finally, Garth had his beautiful wench mail me this shiny hubcap

@metalshaper looks like Rob has an intake manifold I can have that doesn't need welding.

I decided to treat the inside with the rust inhibitor as well.

I've got lots of problems in this part of the tub. I'm really not too worried about it right now. I'll likely make some templates out of cardboard that will cover the major holes and get @metalshaper to make me some scabs. I just want to keep excessive dirt and dust out of the tub.

When I get home Tuesday this will have cured.

Just dropped Lou's radiator at Brandon Radiator. I know it's good. No clue on mine.
I dropped my 60 radiator by there last week to get rebuilt. Turns out, his cost to rebuild it was $300 more than a new aluminum radiator. I'd rather have an original, but for that much more, I decided aluminum will work fine for as long as I'll likely have this beater.

Hope Lou's experience is different than mine.
