And to suppress some concerns a big box of this s***

That fuse box is pure sex. It's the little things like that that will really make this thing turn heads.

I'll likely be working on this all weekend in the a/c. Im not beyond my expertise yet so I'm not begging favors but I will be soon.

If you want to ride up and heckle or spray some paint or something feel free. Other than pulling the drivetrain it's mostly little stuff right now.

Got the final stuff removed to pop the drivetrain out tomorrow. The stupid ass 3 on the tree and vacuum shift ads a lot of linkage to deal with.

I think it will come out tomorrow with reasonably little difficulty

Fully flexed getting it off the jack stands

Cruiser Corps bling

I'm polishing the Internet a****** 2F with chemicals and not water basically because it's in the AC this way.

Gonna start pulling parts off this thing.

That looks great.

Getting that bitch back in is going to take friends. That's a fact.

I'll spend the next 2 weeks working so we can make that happen

I'm about to spend a few hours with the pressure washer on this baby

Other than helping my Dad for about :30 I spent the best of 3.5 hrs cleaning this thing with water inside and out.

It cleaned up remarkably well.

Now I need to decide do I paint the inner area with Spring Green or just leave as is.

All the black is about to get paint (frame and such)

If I do paint it, it will just be a rattle can job.

Also, to clarify. I'm only considering painting inside the engine bay and under the hood

It looks pretty good and when the drivetrain goes back in most places the paint is gone won't be seen.

I'm gonna tell you how I'd do it if it were me:

1. Leave body "as-is" including engine bay and hood.

2. Rust converter on all body panels that need it.

3. Powdercoat frame, and cad plate all bolts and hardware.

4. Powdercoat all brackets.

5. Completely clean and rebuild power train.

6. Clean and update/replace electronics/lights as needed.

7. Leave interior "as-is".

Basically, everything would be or at least look brand new, besides the body. You'd retain the awesome look, while having basically a brand new truck everywhere else.

Expensive I know, but I think it would be an awesome project.

I would rattle can frame and not touch the engine bay or hood. Does the rust converter you bought turn to a flat black? If so just use that.

Let me know when you need help getting the drivetrain back in. I'll drive up.

Yeah, well, I'm not going that way. I might do the body mounts but these actually seem OK.

As for coating all the brackets and stuff.....I don't think that's the look I'm going for. Even under the hood. All the mechanicals will be new. It will be simple and clean under the hood for sure. Just no reason in my mind to take it all down. In fact, other than removing engine bay stuff this afternoon, the process of putting it back together has started.

Drivetrain is going in in 2 weeks if all goes as planned. I'll have to suspend the rear of the drivetrain with a temporary setup until I can enlist help with a new crosdmember but that will be the next big step.

I'm sitting at about $9000 right now and still don't really have s***. 40 work done right is expensive.

I'll throw my $0.02 in:

I'd have everything interior (under hood and inside cab) looking as new and fresh as possible / practical (e.g. I would paint vs. powdercoat, etc.) Outside, I'd preserve the patina in the most cost-effective manner.

So we're on the same page then.

Let us know how/when we can help.

@wngrog , did you ever figure out what that electronic device was?
