Been wanting this Morse Fotomatic IV machine since forever… I posted it here in 2016 post #417

Finally is sitting in my garage waiting an overhaul

Needs some cleaning and a new belt (original is missing)

For those who don’t know … Toyota is one of the companies who made Morse Sewing Machines

Some were assembled by Toyota and some were assembled from parts by other Japanese companies from the Toyota parts

From the lady I got the machine from it’s a late 1960’s machine … she didn’t think it was as early as 50’s

JohnnyC, that's Rod Wheelers 43. Normally he shows his 68 FJ40. He should be at the Elks lodge car show in August. We plan on lining up several 40's for the show this year.

Elks club where? I will most likely be around … we can show a before and after … before rust and after rust lol

Is the 43 owner on mud? I didn’t recall seeing that one here

Hopefully I’ll have a new to me windshield frame in at some point before then

The show will be at the Clifton Park Elks Lodge in Ballston Lake on August 15th, .
I will see if my friend Serge can come up too, none of ours are show pieces but its comical when people comment on the weird jeeps.
Yes, Rod is on mud but I dont remember what he's called. He's only on occasionally.
Good luck on the windshield. My recent parts rig purchase didnt have a good windshield either. And it looks like the next parts one I am looking at doesnt either. If it were drive train parts, well I have a lot of options. Have you tried Christian Wilhelmsen on FB, he's in Plympton, MA? Occasionally he finds an old 40 with some useable parts on it. I have a cowl saved in my market place from him that I need to reach out about. Wouldnt hurt to see if he has one.

Son took the cruiser to the beach at wells after we did his front pads on his scoobydoo … kinda sketch on grass after rain lol

Stopped off at a classic car restoration place in arundel Maine (a usual stop for us) had to look at the Tommykaira Subaru M20b… nice car but has been unsold for 4 years I think since they have had it

Btw divert you eyes from the rust… or you’ll need a tetanus shot for your pupil :meh:

Tomorrow trip home with a stop for windshield frame and possibly a cowl if it fits in back … my eyes say yes :)
