Hey everyone, I finally got around to replacing the gears in the power seats of my 95 cruiser. The trim that you are supposed to remove to access the motor is blocked by the seat. Every video I have seen doesnt have this extra piece. Any advice on removing the trim would be greatly appreciated!

The front of the seat needs to be raised to the highest position and that will just barely give you enough room to access the two screws that hold that trim piece on.

Yep that did the trick. Didnt even know they could do that, Thanks alot!
Just know that you will forget to do that prior to every time you disconnect power and unbolt the seat in the future!
