Btw...why not.

Just because we didn’t get it doesn’t mean we don’t want it.

We never received the "Poverty Pack" 100 in the US. It was usually the cheapest, most basic Land Cruiser and also the most reliable. Reliable because it had just the bare bones.

Well, here's your chance to delete all that unnecessary :poop: lol! All PN's are for 98-02 unless stated otherwise.

Anyone installed this successfully on an 03+ truck?

This has quickly become my favorite 'mud meme. Never change, @nukegoat, never change.

Thanks for putting this thread together @hoser. Kinda neat to see the options, but the "stock" mod on the top of my list would be the tire carrier for sure.

This. @nukegoat is winning at Mud lately.

Exactly! Actually, I'm the OP and I have NONE of these mods nor deletes. I just want to enable others. :)

But come 2023, I will definitely consider buying a white, poverty pack 105 series.

If Toyota were to celebrate the last year of the 200, by selling a Poverty Pack version for 35% off the fully loaded 200 (like it is priced in Australia), I'd be the first in line!

wondering the same. lol.

guess its like the clone mk18, m4a1, mk12 game. (wonder who will get this)
Totally. Quad rail, 2lb optic, $1000 flashlight, civilian legal peq15 when you don’t own any nods etc. Way better stuff available but I’m not gonna lie, i love the look and I’m pretty close to buying a RIS II +10.3” and an elcan 1x/4x cause I have a spare sbr lower. Haha

No sunroof, fixed rear quarter windows, cloth interior, no rear diff locker, no third row and no rear AC.
Where did your rig come from? I love the cloth interiors. Have not noticed that ceiling console before, assume only non-sunroof cars have it so that would make sense, but it is a series of flip-down storage spaces or what's up there exactly?

Aww, I guess mine is a poser poverty pack?

I want some of the rear poverty pack options, especially the no trim look.

Omg. I would give up my sunroof for that top console storage.

It came from Houston.

Glad you like it! There are three fold down doors and the garage door opener spot. Two you push in and they release and are kind of like sunglass holders and the other is larger and has a little tab.

I had to use the d-ring holes and a custom cut piece of sheet metal so I could mount my single ARB drawer.

Also, with the lack of rear AC, the passenger rear quarter is all open, just like an 80. Need to get Joey (Wit's End) to make me a panel like he does the 80 series. I'm guessing I have a little more storage back there than normal. First aid kid and fire extinguisher are hidden back there for now.

@clayinho Nice! As you know, there were only a handful of 98's that came equipped like yours. The closest to poverty pack in the US.

Hundreds, maybe thousands of LC's had port installed leather interiors. What happened to the cloth material that was removed? Trashed or recycled?
I had no idea about this! I assumed no 100-series w/ cloth in the US, so now I'm wondering too, those cloth sets would bring a mint if they were found in NOS condition and well-stored. Of course, they probably went straight to the landfills back then.

To me, these early low-optioned rigs are a new grail to seek out.

@CloudCity Port installed leather talked about here...

I bought dieseldog’s FZJ-105 to get me a no-frills 100. Cloth seats, no nav, no overhead console, manual seats and steering wheel, and the huge center console. I may do the ABS delete at some point after I freshen up the engine and redo the suspension and bushings.. I do love the quasi poverty package.
