I bought dieseldog’s FZJ-105 to get me a no-frills 100. Cloth seats, no nav, no overhead console, manual seats and steering wheel, and the huge center console. I may do the ABS delete at some point after I freshen up the engine and redo the suspension and bushings.. I do love the quasi poverty package.

I do need to get with you, Alex, next time I’m in MCO for a week of work.

i need to see this bad boy.

Let me know when you will be in town, would love to grab a beer.cheers:

I will be starting the build up on it this winter or next spring if all goes well.

I also have cloth interior on my 1998 Land Cruiser. No sunroof, no rear AC. It does have rear locker though.

While I like my leather seats, I hate sunroofs and prefer simplicity. You truck sounds like it's just about the perfect rig!

I do enjoy it. It's completely stock, no modifications at all. Some day I'll build it up a little.

99 FZJ-105, Center diff, no lockers but does have FF rear axle.

@phrogg4evr That’s an amazing rig! I’m jealous.

Amazing and thank you! I love the wider console and the different carpet pile. It is a far more durable carpet.

Another cool part to me is the cloth seats. They are different than the US market poverty packs. They are also a bit tougher and more durable than what we get.

VERY COOL!

Thanks.

It needs some love as it sat and didn't get driven all that much the last 6 or 8 years. Unfortunately only about 1/3 to 1/2 of the 1FZ parts are compatible, so parts will be a little harder to source. The suspensin and drivetrain is mostly 70/80 series hodgepodge which I can mostly get from Kurt. Plus, since it is essentially a 100 body on an 80 chassis, there are a lot of things that will not work with this truck in the way of bumpers, sliders and what not that will not be custom one-off builds.

Give us a yell if you need anything from Oz - we got the coilpack FZ in abundance

Thinking about maybe turbo in the future:hmm:

Thanks:cheers:

Thankfully partsoq can get me 99% of the stuff not available in the US parts system or from the Mud Vendors.

Am thinking about turbo at some point;)
