The problem with using a H4 bulb (7" round) with an 80series is the h4 is a dual filament bulb designed to operates as either hi OR low beam. The 80 harness has a low that is always on, then adds a highbeam when selected. Running both filaments on in an H4 overheats the bulb, melting one or both filaments in short order.

LED option then?

so i was thinking to run the low beam 80 bulb in a roundie as single low beam... then run my ipf on the hi beam circuit.......both using the slee harness as the ipf is probably too strong for the stock hi beam harness. ?????? would this work..?
Yes, that is exactly what I was trying to suggest (but obviously not assplaining it well).

fabbed up supports to stiffen up the swing out door and the decided to make the door a bit more useful and add some fluids/tool roll storage. i will likely throw in another shelf to hold other odds n ends.

Just saw this for first time, must say in the beginning I thought you had gone mad, but its coming together very nicely. Very cool unique build that is so far outside my patience level. I applaud you for setting out and doing something way off the beaten path and making it look easy to boot.

This build is wicked cool. I love the functionality you can achieve from a blank slate.

What is the spacing of that wire mesh? 1/2?
