Well the pig has been restin in the garage this summer while I helped my son build a house. That is now done so I am going to start back on the pig. I have been collecting parts. I have 5 stock disc brake rims at stockton wheel being made into 16x8 and powdercoated. Also been gathering other small parts.

if you don't mind me asking, how much is stockton charging? and how long are they going to take to do the job.

I don't guess that one could knock the rivets out of drum wheels and remove the centers and just send them to stockton and have them make them 8 inches wide and then have them fit with disc brakes?......they would still probably rub?

I have been thinking of trying to apply the hubcap clips to some other 8 inch wheels....

$120 for the wheel work, 40-45$ for powdercoating and 30-45 days. It is now 36 days and no wheels yet

please post pics of wheels when they come.
thank you for the info

A couple of rigs in Yankee Toys have them and they look relly good

I worked on the 60 steering box and ford shock mounts. They are just tacked until everything is in and fit

pto winch

tacked some temporary extensions to see how the winch will sit. I will fab some out of 3/16" once I see how it sits. I will have to cut the pto shaft twice(came out of a 70 series). I took alot of time to try to get the shaft straight. How criticall is this? Do i need to bring it to a driveshaft shop?
