I think I have found inspiration for my FJ55. Looks like the door handles and the mirrors are off of a FJ Cruiser. I might have to do this after I finish my FJ40

Looks like she is the head fabricator at RTECH Fabrications (Idaho) that builds a lot of high end custom truck builds. They’re mainly known for stuff like vintage 4wd, crew-cab, dually, Chevy/GMC’s with Cummins engine conversions. My supervisor has met the owner a couple times at an annual Chevy truck show down in Phoenix when he trailered some of his stuff down.

Rebuild a water pump? “Brand new” 2F water pump? Shirley, you just mean”rebuilt” and disposal means you lose the core charge, right?

How many of us have a press at-hand? I mean, I do, and I bet at least half of us do, but rebuilding pigs kinda self-selects for having those kinds of tools, right?

Anyway I don’t think they tried very hard.

I have a early WP for the 1962 FJ40. I read these can be rebuild, but I cant find a partnumber. What is the trick? Order a new one and transfer the shaft and seals? Or is a set available somewhere?
