‘Bout freakin’ time!!I guess ought to add a few here.
Classic Cruiser co had a 55 there too, but yes mine had the failed fuel pump. PO had installed one before i bought it several years ago. I actually replaced it with the same just recently, but it was a Napa part so i guess i should have known. OEM mechanical on order now. Should get her running well again soon. Sounds like electric fuel pump not great unless it's in the tank? Not sure why they put it in in the first place, what's the advantage? Were you the lone 55 at SAS that had a fuel pump issue?
Had an electric fuel pump (frame mount) on my 79 Yota mini 4x4 feeding dual 44mm Mikuni carbs with no problem! Ya you can hear it just turning key on, but once it's running you won't noticeClassic Cruiser co had a 55 there too, but yes mine had the failed fuel pump.
