Shane,
Jason is probably correct. Man-a-fre tried to sell an Aussie made Milford Barrier that was very nice for about 5 years. The price was in the three hundred dollar range. The Aussies buy them by the hundreds so it was a profitable venture. Man-a-fre couldn't sell 20 a year here at that price.
If you wanted to build these and make a profit you'd need either the numbers to make it work. I've tossed it about for the last ten years.
I have all the drawings and templates . Like I said, I've built a dozen or so for in house builds but what made them profitable in small numbers was the fact that I could add install charges. To build and ship means you have to factor in the handling involved in shipping which is negative profit.
Shops like Jason's and mine are not mass production shops. Everything is truly semi-custom at best. Compared to a ARB type production that spits out 25-50 bumpers a day our level of efficiency can't be compared. An automatic CNC bender will process a cargo barrier perimeter from 1" tube in about 1~2 minutes where it would take us 20. They stamp a mesh insert in less than a minute. We cut it by hand in 15.
If the numbers are right we can source many things out but the key word in that phrase is always numbers.

On to the next possibility. Efforts appreciated. @lcwizard..thanks for the additional information. Cheers

Shoot! Completely understand though. The hunt for a good option will continue. Thanks for looking into it!

I pulled the rear seat years and years ago and stored it. Mounted tie downs with some of the seat bolts for a cargo box. Added a large cage for dogs in the back. Braced the cage with 2x5gal water containers on each side. Works well but I'm heavy. Going to ome heavy in the future, probably with 17x35s.

Dave-
I know you guys are correct. . .but that doesn't ease the ass-burn every time I see something like this happen. Maybe my view of reality is a little different. Specialized, custom fabricated, one-off products, or the void filled when a NOS or sought after unobtainium product is put on the 'it can be made but will cost x dollars'. . .when the 'holy f'n shat' comments about pricing start flying, simply doesn't make sense to me. . .me being the emphasized word, lol. $300~ for MAF's Milford design was a bargain back then; $400~ seems like a bargain now. But I digress. . .and have been down the road of inexpensive products, makeshift remedies, and the whatnot. It's a personal choice. . .I get it. . .maybe I should get a tube of Boudreaux's Butt Paste and call it a day. I'll one-off as the need arises. . .speaking of which, lol.

Truly appreciated, J. I hit my first emotional blowout Monday when I received the '...about 5-7K...' to make the headlight doors (CNC). My lack of experience and knowledge led me to that specific '...not in Kansas. . .' moment. But. . .I've been known to keep a grudge for 9+ years (still ongoing, hehe), so I'll find a solution eventually. I'm checking around to see if I can trade for some 3D scanner time. . .at least to get some files started b/c you never know who's going to walk through your door at any given moment.

Looking fwd to many projects - or at least discussions of - with you over the years, J.

It's hard to imagine the costs of a hand built piece sometimes. A simple light tab, 3" long , 2" wide with a perfect radius and one hole could take twenty minutes with hand tools. In a shop environment that may translate to 30.00. . On a modern CNC table it's a 50 cent part.
When I quote 200.00 an hour on my table it sounds expensive but in an hour I can easily cut 400 or those 30.00 light tabs.. for 50 cents each
