Way to go Brian!
Do you have plans in upgrading from the handheld?
Passed the test tonight
Did you go through Devry or one of the ARRL exam sites to test out?
I'm not sure which question I missed, but I think it was one of the questions that they tweaked. I always wanted to be Ham Operator - Now I R 1.Well when I'm official I will be.
I spent $40 on the Baoefeng and $15 on the test.
I spent more on my CB setup.

Thanks! I have a few repeaters already programmed.Congratulations Trent!
Program in your relay towers for state coverage. Good communications would of been very helpful a few months ago when you had problems.
I tried qrz.com and my first tests results were like 70%. I found that the Ham Whisperer's lessons and quizes actually taught me what I needed to know. The videos are to the point and you can actually stand to listen to his voice. After watching his youtube videos I went to qrz.com and after that I consistently hit 97%-100%. YMMV.
I passed the Technician Test last night at Xavier. I missed one.I'm not sure which question I missed, but I think it was one of the questions that they tweaked.
It takes about a week to 10 days before the FCC posts a newbie's call sign.
I hope this helps.
