PART 2 - How Many FJ55s still on the road in USA ? (1 Viewer)

Well our corporate contacts tell us they only have sales lumped as "FJ". My buddy and I would guesstimate the number of 55s is l somewhat less than 10%.

A little over 100,000 from 1968 through 1979. IF 10% were Pigs, that'd make it about 10,000 total FJ55s. I wonder if 10% of those are still on the road. That'd explain why new OEM or aftermarket Pig-specific parts are so hard to find. Who (besides Bob M) is gonna tool up for that small a base market?
 
I'd say about 60% of mine is still on the road!

Most of the old junker trucks I drive these days are ancient fords.... A volvo/chevy buddy has a plaque in his shop that reads:

95% of all ford trucks are still on the road.... The other 5% made it home.
