Done about every foot of the Salmon. Love Idaho.

Organizing my car-camping set-up. Re-strung the cargo nets. Right net holds, two Thermarests, two sleeping bags and pillows. Left side has two camp chairs, center has a third foam pad. Two cots are under the left seat, along with my CO2 tank. Four season, two-person tent, shade/awning, and roll-a-table under the right side. Water, stove, collapsible bucket, poop-shovel and doogan kit, strapped to milk crate.

Plan to build a replacement for the milk-crate that spans forward to the seat and that I can slide stuff under. I’d like to be able to just grab a cooler, fill a bin with dry food and go, but still be able to daily drive.

Anyone have a source for some decent slip covers for the front seats? I’d like some that have some pockets on the back, I’ve seen one that had Velcro strips across the back that you can arrange different pouches of gear onto. Seems like that would be a good spot for maps, toilet paper, and other essentials. I just haven’t been able to find one that fits these seats.

I bought some seat covers recently at Costco. Not the best but they do fit.

Are the seats roached and need the whole slip cover? I've seen a truck from Australia that had a pocket/molle organizer that attached to the metal back plates of the seats. I'll see if I can find it.

My seats still look good, kinda want to keep them that way. And I'd like to be able to organize some stuff on the back.

We have a 4wheelparts here in Boise again, mostly Heep stuff, so I've never been there, but I may stop by and check the fit out on these.

Added a Tiny Tach yesterday. Haven't got it out on the road yet to see what kind of rpms I'm turning on the highway.

Instructions:

6mm transducer mounted to straight section of fuel line:

Ran the wire across and into the cabin on the driver's side:

Mounted the display to a dash knock-out to the right of the filter and glow lights. I sanded the edges of the mounting tabs down a bit and used 3M VHB Tape to secure it to the knock out. I ran the wires through the joint in the dash, didn't cut any holes.

I can see it pretty easily through the steering wheel:

I had one of those on an old Isuzu P'up Diesel. Worked pretty good other than when it was really cold the display got funky.

Acquired a 'New Take Off' seat from Joe Katana. Finally got it installed, got rid of the milk crate.

Trimmed the corner of the lower right access door and can still get into that cubby with the seat flipped up. Drilled out the rivets on the hinges for the upper left cubby door and added some steel plates and magnets to secure it. I can slide that door off and get in there now too.

Replaced my old spider-cracked washer bottle with one I 'hoped' was the same as the parts-catalog said mine was no longer available. I rolled the dice on one from a new 70, that looked the same.

Old one:

Looking good.

Did you ever do anything with seat covers?

Thanks. I test-fit the jeep covers in the parking lot at 4-wheelparts and they were too big. The 'truck' versions have just the seat back portion and they fit okay, but I'd like to have both seat back and bottom. I still may get the jeep version and then learn to sew...

I've put in a new pair of Scheel Mann seats and .......I have a dog......that likes to ride shotgun. I'll go by 4wheel and see what they might have.

If the Scheel Mann seats are taller and a bit wider than the stock seats, then the jeep covers may fit okay. They "...hang, like sleeve of wizard" on the stock 75 buckets.
