Oooohhhh pretty! I'm assuming you're doing all this AFTER you got the Datsun back on the road?! :flipoff2:

No. Trying to get this POS outside so i can use the whole garage for datsun.

Gotta be honest, been toying with the idea of unloading this thing. Just tired of working on s*** anymore.

You thinking of unloading the crawler or the Datsun? I gotta admit I got sick of working on my designated wheelers years ago. These days, with the few areas that are legal to explore, you can do most anything with your DD 4runner on 33's and forget owning a designated wheeler.

The datsun will be sold eventually as well ;).

Its kind of hard to explain...i like working on s***, im not really fond of fixing s***. :flipoff2:

This makes me very sad.

I tore the bearings out today. Was kind of thinking they failed because of too much preload. Turns out had some mud got in there at some point, a while ago. Pics.

How about a little back from the dead......

Finished the roof rack project. Picked up a Thule roof box for a hundo. Had to get keys again from Thule. They're product support, at least in this aspect, has been spot on. Fixed a crack. Bought a pair of Yakima "wide body" artificial rain gutters for the rear feet.
Used this weekend for McGrew,. Im pretty proud that i remembered it was there all day and didn't rip it off. Lol.
Not really rocket science, i know, but id give this mod a serious thumbs up. Cleared up tons of space in the truck. It also kept my junk clean in the dust bin.
My tech is that i think these particular yakima brackets are the perfect one for first gen runner. I plan on getting a second pair for my full cab too. Only downside is they didn't come with a seal. Which to me is no big, and for this top, irrelevant.
