those sit a little too low.
Just got a recall notice on the 4Runner. Apparently in some cases they didn't tighten the "TFORCE" roof racks properly and they want me to take it in so they can be properly torqued. Sigh....
I think I remember seeing that Mud has some rules about posting pictures of "real racks".
Tundra did an awesome job from HS to Rapid City Black Hills area of SD. Little over 2600 miles in 6 1/2 days. Had it about 90 most of the time in SD. Drove great and most comfortable vehicle I've ever driven. My 76yo dad was up front and 9yo Jack in the back. Dad said he felt better after a 12 hour drive in the Tundra than he does a 40 min drive in his Solera.
Did very little offroading. Just a few NF roads when we had an hour to kill here and there.
Wish I had a 40 to take up to the Black Hills. TLCA event. I will definitely be going back. We spent most of our time in Rushmore and Custer Park and at a Burger Place in Custer. The Black Hills are really memorable.

I'd love to do a restomod Stout one day. They are cool looking trucks.
That was a cool car museum.
It wasn't too crowded except at obvious points, Rushmore and Jewel Cave. We did lots of Tourist stuff for Jack; 1880s Train, Circle B chuckwagon dinner, Mammoth Exhibit in Hot Springs, a maze in Rapid City and some Bear exhibit. Once To get Jack looking outside I told him I'd give him 50 cents for each deer he could see. We saw over 50 on that short drive. It was really a great trip and stumbling on the retiring of the colors using vets at our second time to Rushmore was awesome. As soon as we went offroad we were alone. I'm going back sometime.

#BBT finally got into the spa. Clear coat had peeled on the top and the hood had a ton of rock chips and the clear coat was getting cloudy.
