Bout time you slacker.
They are TYC and got them off of eBay. My 1998 has 293K miles and the original headlights. In 1999, Toyota improved the headlights but they are still direct-bolt-in for 1996-1998. The older ones have ribs in the lens...the newer ones have smooth lenses.
They aren't Toyota quality, but 1000% better than the old OEM units...they were tired and the PS had lost most of the reflective coating in the back...so it always looked dead.
I searched "1998 4Runner Glass Headlights". They didn't specify that they were TYC, but I went off of seller feedback and I think I paid around $130 shipped for the pair. My eBay history isn't updating or I'd give specifics.
At any rate, I love them...I can actually see the deer at the edge of the woods now and my 16-year-old DDs it...so upgrading the lights was a must.
