Just bought my 80 recently- can anyone tell me what would normally occupy the two open spots in the attached photo?

I believe the left hole can also be for a choke on the Carb'd units.

The one to the right of the steering wheel is for a hand throttle.

Check your driver door sticker for the K294 code. Having it means you should have locking front and rear differentials. That means you need a locker dial switch...if the correct axles are still under it. If you don't have the K294 code, then it should say K292 (non-locking diffs) and you just need a blanking plate to cover that hole.

I moved my dimmer to the lower spot and installed a fog light switch where the dimmer was...
