Kinda has that mother goose look to it.

Denver Pyle (Uncle Jesse on Dukes of Hazard) was born on Christmas and died on Christmas. 77 years apart. Kinda weird.

Now, off to Lexus to let them fix something in the ES350 front end for the 3rd time in 2 months. Gonna be pissed if it's what I think it is...

Gonna eat the hell out of their snacks and drinks while I'm there! Maybe drive an F-Sport, too?

I think I need a shower after that Bauer Power hour...

Very inspiring article:
The best overlanding vehicle is the one you already have.

The best overlanding vehicle in the world - OutdoorX4

I love that mag..... its like the overland journal for the everyday guy. Not saying I don't love overland journal but i'll never be the type of guy to drop the kind of money on some of the things they test (and never seem to test a budget option). Well I shouldn't say never.... the lottery is always an option ;)

Kansas + Wichita State > NC + Duke

Eh, about as aerodynamic as a 40.

The manhole lid thing happens sometimes. Methane builds up. A lighnting strike on a service pole runs to ground down in a manhole system and POW! I am an engineer for AT&T and we have actually had to abandon sections of cabling and entire manhole runs because of this issue. The sections I am talking about are along South Tryon Street near Tyvola Rd by the golf course. The golf course was built on an old landfill site. Landfill=methane. From what I am told the last time the manholes blew, one of the covers was never found. The covers we use weigh around 250 lbs!

Not so uncommon here either .... I was mostly poking fun at a dim-wit reporter saying the man hole cover exploded.

Myth busters just did an episode on "exploding manhole covers". Was pretty cool, they blew some covers sky high.

What vehicles have you owned in your life?
Just thought it would be interesting to see everyone's past vehicle history history (i would imagine some of them would be very, very long)

These first ones in red were really cars I used to buy with friends, race and then sell or put motors in them and sell, this was in the mid to late 90s where you could buy muscle cars for the huge sum of $500-750 without engines and $750-1500 running. If we had known that the stupid collectors car market was about to explode on them I would have kept them all)

69 Camaro
71 Buick GS
68 Firebird
(there were many more but really me and my friends joint owned them all so I just posted these ones up here)

Now for the ones I actually owned for more than a month or so
