Should be sleeping but still just goofing off. Remember the 3d stereogram fad back in the 80's?

Enjoy. Post up when you see it.

We have come to the conclusion around here that a big part of the reason we like our critters so much is the entertainment value. Tonight was no exception. Heather got some new blankets for some of the horses and ordered up a dog blanket for Max too. He's an old fart and insists on being outside all day while I am at the shop.

Seems that an old yellow dog wearing an orange coat is very foreign to a horse. Dante (17-3 about 1,800 lbs or so) was ears up and all weary of Max and slowly snuck up on him. Next thing I see is a huge white horse being chased across the paddock by an orange flash. Maxi chased him all over the place and now Dante wont go near him. Just funny to see such a huge animal so afraid of his pal in an orange jacket.

I was at an appliance parts store the other day and a guy came up to me while I was in my 40 and said "Nice Jeep, you left your gas door open"

I said "thanks" and shut it with my foot.
He went on to tell me how he had one back in the day.
Yeah.

You'd be surprised at the stupidity. Previous owner of mine used a screw driver to pry open the vent because he ran out of gas and 'thought it was a second gas tank....'

I have been on a waiting list to get a replica OEM tool roll for several months now with no timeline given. I got tired of waiting so for less than the price of a tool roll I picked up this...

Morse 4300 zig zag.jpg

This machine was made for Morse by Toyota in the 50's and 60's. This machine works like brand new for less than half of a new machine that has plastic gears. This thing is all metal, weighs about 40lbs. To test it I patched up some work jeans and made a pouch for my daughter.

Not the best sewing I have seen but it's not the machines fault. I was just testing the function and trying out the zipper foot. I still need some practice.

I have a few ideas for projects but first I would like to make a tool roll and/or a tool bag for my 40.

Do any of the 40 owners out there have a factory tool roll I can take pics and measurements from?

I know @FJinTegaCay has a tool bag and I will be hitting up David for pics and measurements soon, but I would like a tool roll as well.

some of my favorite car chases are

Ronin
Death Proof
Bullit
Vanishing Point (original)
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry
Bourne Identity
To live and die in LA
Driver (the original)
Gone in 60 seconds (original)
The Sweeney
Thunder Road

There are some great scenes in cannon ball run, speed zone, 2 land black top, gumball rally but those are films about a race not a chase

Mine worked great until it threw a belt, Scott just scooped that up from me for a steal.

never had a problem m running impact fun, air sander, chisel, etc

Are these worth buying? $200 delivered and not rusty. I'm assuming just some chrome polish and TLC will get there back up and running.

I got ones for free i while back and polish them. They look great. As long as they are not pitted they will turn out good. I used coke and aluminum foil.

These also look great on a 40 if you paint them white. A side benefit is that they are .5" wider than the earlier 40 steelies so 10.5" tires fit a little better.
