Company car switching time, test drove a Tourag TDI, loved the low end torque, pick up power, comfort and electronics. Got a price, waited over night to decide (we are getting 2), and the wonderful EPA puts a stop-sell order on all VW large diesels (Porshce and Audi too). 8 hours, 8 short hours and I would have a coveted legal but illegal TDI.... Oh well, looking at gassers now.

No, "the man" did it. VW is innocent, they are being framed. Their exhaust smells like warm chocolate chip cookies. But regardless, the TDI doesnt make financial sense for the mpg differential during the lease period. Only difference is when zombies attack and gas runs out, I can use kerosene and keep driving. Like Bruno would have....

I got good news for you then..... To run a VW tdi and burn those kind of fuels you will need a pre 99 tdi. Nice and cheap.... Try to run those fuels in anything newer and you'll get to know your VW mechanic really well..... Or in your the business end of a Zombie

Yup, gassers. They found 2 "perfect" color combos, Lux models with Drivers Assist packages. One black and tan, one grey and black. Had 3 dealers bid, the one we have been buying from in the past came with a great deal. The V6 is not bad, we had Passats with those and they move with purpose.
