As a responsible science educator I feel the need to go down there and ..... ah hell, I'm going to bed. Wake me when it's over.

LOL, I had the same thought.

Anyone know any good places between Greensboro and Raleigh to fish besides Jordan lake? I'm new out here just trying to see what's out there.

I find it interesting that the article used "flat Earth" and "scientist" in the same breath.

Long ago when I taught at Governor's School we would bring in a "scientific creationist" as a guest speaker for the students to try and provoke thought and push some buttons.

Watching his attempt to provide scientific evidence the Earth is only 12,000 years old was fun to watch.

I'm thinking after Burlington cars and coffee tomorrow morning I might tow he boat out to belews. But it's a pretty lousy fishing lake. Oak Hollow is fun sometimes, if you're willing to drop the boat and switch to the kayak, the Mayo and/or the Dan river are really good for fishing.

Awesome thanks I'll have to look into that so far I've only really fished at Jordan lake and another lake here in mebane and one time in the haw river in a kayak. All were fun but didn't do to hot as far as catching fish. I'm hoping to get a decent kayak soon so I'm sure that will open up my options alittle.
