Anyone play Disc Golf here?

I was reading how we have a decent course here in Pittsboro.

Rock Ridge Park - Facilities - Pittsboro, NC

I haven't played in probably 2.5-3 years with the move etc.

Would like to get back into it

YES!! New hobby for Laura and I, but we've been trying to go every weekend. We play at UNC and Lee Farm Park since they're close to us, but would love to make a trip out to Rock Ridge!

Used to throw with a buddy of mine. He got a dog that was a PITA and would chase down and bring back any disc you threw... Got so bad that he would have to throw a decoy disc at the beginning of each hole to send him off in the wrong direction or all the discs would end up chewed up. Enjoyed it tho.

Perhaps we need a thread on hitting all the local courses as a club? Try to hit one per month? I can get this going if there is interest.

Theres a course at up the road at Southern Village. Me and Isla go out there and throw about once a week. She likes to find the frisbee's.

I've been watching some wrens make a nest in the rear bumper of the green 80. One of them flies in and out of the HI Lift hole in the side while the other just flies under the truck. I need to go put a stop to this before they make too much progress.

no Izzy, some govt "official" will send out a bird survey team, and even though there are trillions of carolina wrens, will deep @JohnVee 's truck some sort of protected nesting environment for an endangered specieies, and he wont be able to touch or move his truck for the next 90 days.

We've had wrens on our back porch for 14 out of the 17 years we've lived here. Sometimes in a fern, most times in a fake plant on top of a spiral plant staircase, and twice on exterior speakers.

We had a black snake laying against the house when the babies were about to fledge and jump out. My wife and mother in law saw the snake and went batsheet crazy. They tried screaming at it, spraying it with bleach, and throwin boiling hot water at it. Of course they repeatedly called me while i was on a conf call. my team got a big kick out of the reason why i had to drop the call and go home. My neighbor (also my coworker) and i couldnt find the snake, but later that day, he was back again. we corralled him, captured him, and my neighbor kept him til he grew too big, and was able to lift the screen on the tank.

I received a quote of $800 to recover the two front seats in the 80. They would go back with marine vinyl. I'm not sure if this is good or bad and just wanted to check and see if anyone has had their seats recovered recently. I am also looking into Wet Okole if someone has some feedback

Not bad i guess. Lseat covers are 300 and install would run ~200 if outsourced. My 80 got front and second rows plus door cards and console top done in leather for 1300 ~2004 for reference.

I asked the shop about installing covers that I supplied and they said close approximately $400, but they also said if they were damaged during install it wouldn't be their responsibility. Did you get LSeat covers?

I did and they look very nice. The shop said it would be $400 to install seat covers if I provide. When I looked you could only get grey in the premium so it ended up being about $1,200.
