It was great helping on such a clean rig!

Honestly, not as much damage to the internals as what it sounded like when we shook it. Makes sense why we hardly saw any metal in the system.
Agreed. Looked to me like the vanes had worn down pretty badly and the pump was scored accordingly. Pretty lucky I think 👍

Get that thing up on the rev limiter, nice rig, what I got from that video is your suspension seems to work really well. What are the specs on your CO's ?
I am curious what the spring rates are and what length springs you stacked ? are you using tender springs at the top ? Did you fill to 200#'s or so ?

@peesalot, sorry for the delay, my schedule has been crazy

Springs are Eibach 14”, 150lb on top, 200lb on bottom, no helper springs. That’s the front on the 5 link radius arm. Long story but with almost no lift and the high pinion on the Dynatrac there was basically no room for a 3 link

The rear is a pretty standard inverted 4 link using Currie 4” TJ coils. Simple, and it works and it’s worked for years

I think it’s got about 150psi or so of nitrogen charge. Not sure because they were charged 13 years ago 😂

You are running 2 14" springsn? They are telling me to run a 16" lower & 12" upper , I guess it depends on how much travel you want before the heavier springs kicks in.

Yes, two 14”s, I like it, it’s worked well. I have VERY little uptravel, probably a little less than 3”. That’s the trade off for very little lift and a low COG

How much does it sink when loaded for camping ? Do you have to adjust your preload if your packing full gear & wheeling ?

I’ve actually never adjusted the front, even loaded since most of the weight ends up on the rear. Loaded for Rubicon and pulling my M416 from WA I did adjust/tighten the rear Currie swaybar but that was it. The rear was definitely squatted some but not bad considering how many tools, fridge, etc I had in the back. Because the rear is just on Currie TJ coils, I can’t adjust those spings anyway. Tightening the sway bar certainly helped tho, did 65-75mph the whole way down
