Accomodates Spare Tire

Bumpitoffroad's newer design allows for retention of stock spare tire and incorporates a hitch (frame must be notched). I had Mike put in some custom fog lights (from a Corolla) and they came out great, don't you think?

I love to see other people handy work. So prior to buying a welder FINALLY, I went with a Slee rear bumper with the kick out hoops. Here is a few poser pics behind my house.

I love my Slee bumper but the tire swingout does add some effort to getting the hatch open - like when some dork decides to park right behind you at the ski resort parking lot. The Destaco clamp that holds the swingout closed works but I find that it must be adjusted quite tight to really keep the swingout from rattling. Its tight enough that my wife won't even try to open it. I would avoid using the rear hatch altogether if I had to open and close two swingouts to get in there each time. A latch the could be operated easily with one hand, that didn't rattle, that can resist binding with some road grime on it would complete what is already an excellent design.

Sorry to segway, but where is the handle to open the "hospitol doors?" Can you please show us.

The handles are the silver part on the first picture

I think the question refers to the latch on the rear doors (ambulance doors) of the Cruiser...not the latches that release the swing-outs on the bumper.
