So I need to replace my 97's oil pan gasket and I'm a bit confused on the part number. It appears to be 12151-61011, but that part seems to be from 91 to 93. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks,

Dan

there is no pan gasket. it's just fipg

I may not be remembering correctly since It's been a while, it I don't recall the 1fzfe having pan gaskets...just FIPG

Read the description...it's for the 4.0-4.2l engine

The only gasket the pan has is the #1 pan has a small rubber gasket between the pan and timing cover for the oil pump

That part number is for the 3FE engine. You need FIP for the 97.

the early (pre 93) 80 series were a completely different engine. it was the 3fe. that used a gasket. the 1fz engine uses fipg (form in place gasket)
That's what I thought based on my research. Thanks for confirming. FIPG will be
