For those wanting a large capacity filter...the motorcraft FL1A is a good filter, good fit, found everywhere. Been running them on mine for the last 15 yrs.

310K on my engine now. Blackstone reports always good.

Update: finally got around to doing an oil change on my wife’s 2UZ-FE. Oil filter is a perfect match.

And for a turbo Supra. 7M-GTE.

So it means will be a direct fit to 1FZ-FE as well as 3F-E, etc.

@CatskillsRunner got her first oil change under her belt as well.

Gonna run the 10 I have on the 2UZ-FE since I no longer have a 1FZ-FE.

This would work on 3B/13B-T engines as well. But I have the classic 15600-41010’s for those.

The 15601-44011 was the original for 20R, 22R and the M straight 6.

I have a case of them from ~1989.

15600-41010’s are still available out of Japan from Dave Stedman (Japan4X4). I’ve got about 90 of those filters.

I think Cruiser Outfitters might have them too.

Either way looking at $30-35 each landed.

The filters are cheap. Japan shipping isn’t.

But these would be a decent substitute.

That's really good news, I thought they were done. I'm about to check with Dave on the availability of a new HDJ81 rad anyway so that all might work out nicely.

I'll swing by this week sometime to grab some. The 1FZ-FE is undergoing some good surgery right now...just had a superchargerectomy and now mitigating a bad case of coolingsystemitis.
