Chris did you find a trailer yet?

http://providence.craigslist.org/for/3276517932.html

If you don't want this I would be tempted to see you mine and pick up this.

i live near that guy and i see him towing it looks mint the only thing i don't like is the deck above tires if u tri to put somthing low on it forget ramp angle is crazy steep and when he is ggoing down the road the car looks 20 ft in the air just my 2cents but the trailer looks new

I emailed about it....now I get Canadian Pharmacy and porn spam....I wonder if it's connected?

Another good reason to stay away from FJ40s....

You couldn't be more wrong. I have (2) deck over trailers, 20ft and 25ft. I got rid of my standard 'between the fenders' type trailers. That trailer is on the lighter side, but perfect for a 40, or a mini truck, and parts, gear. Its great being able to walk around the truck ON the trailer while tying it down. I have towed countless cars, trucks, equipment, scrap steel, plants, trees, etc on my trailers, and only had a couple front wheel drive cars 'scrape' going over the beaver tail. Wood decks are standard because they are much less slippery when wet than steel, and also MUCH easier to replace when broken (cheeper too) .

The deck over trailers have a defenite advantage as you can open the doors all the way on the cars after being loaded, and after breaking a WIDE wheeling rig you dont have to run over a fender to get em on there! I like to keep my height under 11ft, and most of the time (except scrap loads) that is pretty easy to do.
