Hey guys, it was fun and im glad I got to join up with you all. Ill tell ya I think it may be time to install the top and put on the doors, it was a little chilly on the ride back out to maricopa. Just wanted to say thanks for the hospitality and ill see yall next month.

Sorry I had to run early, my wife always spends time at her mother's when I come to meets and being 8 1/2 mo pregnant she hasn't been sleeping well and I told here I would get her back home to Goodyear fairly early.

Sorry I am not going to be able to make the meet this evening; tonight is our company Christmas Party. I am pissed, as this will be the first meet I have missed since I joined. Oh well, so much for perfect attendance. Take care and everyone have a great holiday if I don't talk to you before then.

Hmm...the first page of this thread says the meet is December 17th...?

Is the time still 6:30 or so, and whats the easiest way to get there from Cottonwood/I-17..?

Yeah, I know, but the 17th of December was still a Saturday back then too...

most arrive b/w 6:30 and 7:30-people come and go throughout, but the meeting is around 7 ish. Some of us :eek: stay until 1am

As you descend into PHX on I-17, exit on the 101 to the east. Take this freeway all the way to the BROADWAY RD exit (about 25 min from I-17) . At BROADWAY road exit, turn right (to the west) and drive ~2.75 miles. You will see the Sonic on the right (north side of street).
 
Will I be the only stock truck that shows up? If so, I should probably go shovel lots of mud onto my car, so I look, um...like I'm supposed to be parked next to all the lifted rigs?

My old FJ40 is stock height and my young FJ60 is about stock height too.
 
Hey I'm not a member of the CSC (yet... here's my $!) can I still come tonight? Gary (of the FJ70) and Sean (he bought my OTHER 40) and my 40 (or 80) would like to come.

Ahh I see....makes more sense now.

It was nice meeting everyone earlier tonite...er last night (Its 12:23am now).

Guess I have to learn to drive slower with a trailer. I stuck around 80mph the whole way back from Tempe to Cottonwood, and I had a little over 1/2 tank of gas when I left. I pulled into the gas station at my Camp Verde exit with the low fuel light on and the needle a ways below E.

I need to go beat up a Canadian and steal his diesel engine now.
