Start saving your pennies. I am corresponding with a company for a group buy on bumpers. Most likely would be ARB and TJM bumpers, possibly others.......

Oooooh!!! TJM, TJM, TJM!!!

Who wants to be a rock star? How about maybe a little gift for the kiddos of your (cough cough) "favorite" relative? Time to part ways with one of my favorite noise makers.

PDP (by DW) CX Series 6-piece drums. Maple shells. Silver sparkle wrap. Popularly regarded as one of the highest quality mid-level kits of the last 20 years. Not produced anymore. Comes with Yamaha hihat stand, Yamaha kick pedal, DW and Pearl cymbal stands, Ludwig snare stand, and all hardware needed for all toms. All you need is a throne and some cymbals. Bass drum is missing one rubber spike bumper. Everything else is in superb condition. The shell pack alone (without the included 16") was around $600 new. The 16" and the hardware would have added about $450+ when new. Contact me for ONSC, or Friend of ONSC, price; let's just say that it's a deal. Located in Charlotte, NC. Will not ship. I can send more pics if needed.
Kick = 18x22
Snare = 5x14
Tom 1 = 8x10
Tom 2 = 9x12
Tom 3 = 12x14
Tom 4 = 14x16

I was never a fan on the wraps on the CX series (or on any drums for that matter) but PDP makes a great kit for a entry-medium level players. And with the right heads and some tuning they can sound like kits that cost quadruple.

I’ve been playing my MX series kit for just about ten years now.

What's your issue on the CX wrap? I haven't had any delaminate, and I'd literally put the appearance of the sparkle right up there with any of the DW's I have (except the early 90's purple Keller ones that are all coming loose). And I totally agree on the heads comment - oddly, pinstripes have been my favorites on this CX. I honestly never used the snare tho.

Nothing wrong with them, I’m just not a wrap fan. I’m not really even into the super thick clear epoxy like on a Yamaha Stage Custom, I just much prefer the look of a bare or stained wood steel. Just personal preference.

Saw this 2nd gen pickup in a neighbors yard today on Old Greensboro in Chapel Hill.

Did I read that right? $2,500? What's wrong with it? That looks like a great deal on a nice little pickup

Any local folks thinking of selling a 2004 or newer 100 series? I have person ready to buy.

$2500 is correct. It looked very well used, dents, broken plastic trim, but I didn't see any obvious rust. I can stop by later today for closer pics if anyone is interested.

Wanted. plastic skid plate/cowl? Plastic shield under the engine for a 2004 100 series. Buddy Mike got whacked, totaled his 2001 and he now has a 2004.

Sent you a DM. I think I have one in my basement.

Anyone interested in Dobinson bumpers? 5-9 and we can get $200 off each bumper. 10+ we can get $450 off each.
Shipped to ‘closest terminal or business address with truck access’.

As always, I will get some feedback here and then open up a legit group buy. I think getting 10+ is the money shot.

@JToobe if you want to let the Upstate guys know, please do.

I am not in a hurry on this one since it is a larger purchase and these type of buys are slower to get commitments. And I wasn’t really given a deadline....but we have to have enough on board to make sense. I will post in the 80, 100, 200 boards in a day or 2. Kind of a feeler at this point.

Still in search of 100 Series - Front Bumper cover in Gray.

I will be attending Logan's run. There was one mentioned early in Charleston. Anyone from Charleston headed to Logan's run?
