What is this "stock" you speak of?

Its pretty much anything on mine at this time....LOL

Wonder how hard it would be to remove the raptor liner?

Might be worth it to google herculiner on my hootus, and read how difficult that can be to remove.

I'll make ya a deal. get me an arb or equivalent, and i'll give ya my stock one. Heck, I'd even respray it for ya

Funny you mention that, there's a guy in the national for sale forum that wants to trade an ARB for a stock one.

Sad to say our 2000 4Runner was totaled this week (all safe). I was so bummed because I was on a quest to drive it to 300k (it hit 260k).

So we are now in the market for a new truck. Looking for either a 4runner (4th gen), Land Cruiser or GX470.

Main criteria is 4WD, but after that fairly open. Budget is $10k - $15k (Cruiser prob going to be hard on that budget with reasonable miles).

Figured I'd throw a post up just in case someone knows of a good one available. I'm searching normal channels (CL, cars.com, auto trader, etc) and finding a few good options. We will not be ready to purchase for ~2 weeks, but are starting to look.

Feel free to PM

Raptor liner is EASY to remove. I used aircraft stripper to remove it from sliders.

F*** I hear hail!!!!

not for a stock plastic front bumper.... it will melt just about any plastic it touches.

Yeap, the steel part will clean up nicely but the bumper ends can not be cleaned off.

BTW, is anyone looking for a 4x4Labs bumper. There is a group buy in the 80 series forums. I'm trying to split shipping costs with someone. The kit shipped to NC is $250 but two kits shipped to NC is $125 each.

Whats the discount on a built bumper?

Anyone have a clean stock 80 front bumper they would be willing to part with?
I have a mildly dented one from Jeremy sitting behind my shed

Cool, that might work. Mine has one pretty good dent right in the middle so that might be an improvement.
