I traded PM'd with him (JQ11). Even he seemed shocked by the bids which, at that time, were in the low $30's.

He is cruiser-less for the moment but said he'd have another someday. I told him he was welcome to join us in his Defender anytime.

So Brian, you going to get yours into that shape someday?
 
+1 I might end up just pulling mine and rebuilding it, but I really don't want an extended downtime.

Works for me. I'm going to be regearing my e-lockers, but as usual I've got a bunch of s*** on my plate, so I don't mind waiting.

3.73's are available for 80's but only in Europe and the supply for the front 8" HP is going away. Last time I was able to track some down through European contacts they were close to 1300 euros

I've got two, you can have one. It's walled with some thick ass steel!!

How much shorter were you going to make it and why? IIRC, mine was made to the stock length and it worked perfectly.

It's got a DC joint on the t-case end and a regular late 60/62 yoke on the diff end.

The A440 is sooo much longer than a 60 4speed and my stretched and lifted stance has my length in between a 62 and 60 shaft length. I'm putting the original rear up front. Probably gotta shave 2 inches or so out of each shaft. Sprung over and stretched about 5 inches total.

Okay I'll give you that. Just remember that when Burt's sitting on top of the rock that Moonshine couldn't quite climb. It's all because of her generosity.;)

I might make it to the car show. Up in the air right now. I may be coming up to Norther Tool pretty soon and I could swing by.
