I am in need of a good condition or rebuilt 1FZ-FE engine or rebuilt head. Blew a head gasket and the shop is 5-6 months from being able to get it in for a rebuild.

It’s a long-shot but let me know if anyone has something laying around.

Where are you located? I use a machine shop in Monroe, NC that can usually turn a 1FZ head around in a week or two:

What shop? it may be too late, but have you tried Quality Machine in Monroe?

Probably. They’ve not done one for me. Call them and ask.

Any improvement on power?

FREE- 3FE headers
Pretty sure these are Man-A-Fre. They have POR15 manifold paint on them.
I bought them used. They work well and seal just fine but they made the engine bay HOT.

Power? on a 3FE?
A little better throttle response and it sounded a little better, that could have been a placebo effect. I was still running stock downpipes.

This carb was on my 40 when I got it. It's missing the choke plate, but it has the adaptor for a 2F engine.

FREE- '64-'80 Body mount kit.
I think these are polyurethane. They came with my 40 just as you see them in the pic. The bags are open but have never been gone through, I'm not sure if all the parts are there or not.

FREE- H42 trans (correct me if I'm wrong)
It's rusty, it's crusty, and it's a basketcase, but it's all there. I have a shifter for it and I might even have some gaskets for it. Third gear synchro is worn and sometimes grinds a little when shifting.

FREE- 40 series mirrors and stalks
The mirrors are serviceable but they work loose after a few bumps and shift down. The stalks are useable as is.
