Dreaming of the day I can find a shop that will help me fit 35s without trying to up-sell removing AHC and re-gearing. Until then I’ll be lifting wheels I guess.

How about trying to up-sell you on 37’s and re-gearing 🤔
Happy to help you get onto 35’s with AHC but I’m in MT.
5eight Off-road & Fab in Louisville KY has installed two of my body lift kits and helped one of them get on 37’s, I think the other person was just getting onto 35’s.
And we’ve got another BL installer in Suwanee, GA I can share information for if you’d like. He accomplished this for @DrivenLyfe

This right here! I’m in Atlanta and not too far from Suwannee. Would love the info. Thanks!

What are you stuck on fitting 35s? Well-trodden path at this point.
That’s a good question. I’ve always tried to put myself in a proper financial position to pay a professional for their work and ease of mind.

With the proper curse words and unlimited time, I’m sure I could figure out how to turn my own wrench and sensor lift/ pull fender lining. I’ve been reading teckis post about it for well over a year now… and even your post about 295/70/18 which is the tire size I want with some tundra take offs.

I guess I was just frustrated at the few professionals I spoke with that claimed to be “experts” but then bashed AHC and said they wouldn’t do larger tires without re-gearing (using one of their vendors of course). No I don’t want a kings or dominions lift on my LX. Lolol.

Edit: added picture to stay on post topic 👍🏻

BL wasn’t difficult according to the fabricator but @MTKID was proactive in reaching out to him to ensure no issues and the guy knew the tips and tricks.

Happy to answer any questions you may have. Really happy with the build all around.

How do you like your RR Pioneer? I managed to score one on offerup for $100 and couldn't pass it up. Just put it on the factory fails and love the look and versatility.

Damn! I would have picked that up too. I love the RR stuff. It isn't the most trendy looking rack but it's more versatile than most. I run the 6 feet set up rather than the backbone. The BB system requires the 84" rack and I like to swap out the Pioneer for 3 Vortex bars in the winter. The bars make life a bit easier when mounting a Thule ski box or clearing off snow. BB vs 6 feet is a personal preference thing though, you can't go wrong with either. I've had everything from picnics with the family to a weekends worth of gear on the platform.

The platform came off my 100 series, all I had to do was get the 200 series fit kit and adjust the position of the feet on the platform.

I'm back! After selling my built 200 two years ago (in the profile pic), I found myself in need of a larger vehicle with different specs again. Enter a 2017 LX with 76K miles bought for just under $51K and is super clean. This one won't be built for trails and camping though, so no build thread. I figured I'd post pics is it in low (easy exit) mode and in high mode so people could easily see the 4" difference in height. The normal ride height is in the middle of those two points as most of you know.

We recently bought a cabin in Big Bear with my mom who is 80 years old, so the combination of the low entry, amazing 4wd systems, and third row for grand kids means we can get four generations up to the cabin in all seasons. Now to hunt for the best "3 mountain" rated snow tires. It's got Toyo Open Country H/Tii tires on it now but we may want something more specific without going to dedicated snow tires on winter wheels.
