Manassas... But I'm out of town thru the week.
You still planning on making it to the meeting?
Yup yup, laura and I are field tripping down
Anyone want an exhaust header for 22r engine. little rusty but no holes. It would not fit my truck without doing some modifications.
Any ideas what a hard top in great shape with a new headliner is worth? It is a lift gate, not ambo doors. I'm contemplating letting it go so I can get a Trollhole soft top. Pics are of it off and on my 40.
It has since had the tires and rims put back to stock...which looks better
Truly rust free, including the lowers and the rain gutter and good rubber? How are the rear hatch supports and latch?
If all are good, $1200 ish? A top that is truly turn key (and in such a popular color) is worth bank... Though the size and potential buyer density (or lack there-of may affect the price too.
I sold that big lot of Craftsman tools but I still have the Lista toolbox, some corded Dewalt Drills, Blackhawk Impact Socket and just putting up this SK Stuff - set of 10 shorty metric wrenches and a nice set of SK 18 Deep Metric impacts 10mm to 32mm. USA. $100 for the wrenches (like new) and $200 for the sockets (like new) Blackhawk's I'll do for $80 per set. I have two metric and two SAE both deep impact. Also have a Craftsman Military tool case ideal for electrical tools - is brand new and no longer available $340. Gear Wrench stubby SAE $60 - these are old school Taiwan vs new ones are Chinesium. Stihl hard hard with ear protection and clear visor $60 - worn maybe once.
I have a ton of Snap-On SAE Sockets, wrenches and impact swivels going up next - I'm keeping just my metric stuff.
Let me know if you guys get sick of my peddling my tools as I wind down from this hobby.
More of my junk:
swivel wrench set - nice Taiwanese $60
Detail Sander Ryobi - made in USA - with lots of pads $30
¼ Drill $35
½ Hammer Drill $75
Lista Box $2350 48 inches tall, 56 inches tall, 30 inches deep, 440 pounds per drawer with cartridge roller bearings on tracks - no slides. 16 drawers. Made in Boston Mass. selling for ½ price. Also have butcher block wood top for another $200
99% rust free. A tiny bit where paint chipped in back on a corner. Struts are good and hold up the hatch. Latch and inside handle are new and the latch mechanism works perfectly. Brand new headliner, new rubbers and glass is perfect. It could use fresh white paint up top as it is slightly faded but gutters are great and sealed perfectly.[/QUOTE]
Keep it coming... even if I'm not buying, I like the tool porn.
Measuring tools - these will up your fabrication game. It's hard to measure and duplicate what you can just gauge with a caliper! $100 for a complete set - more than what is shown here. Picture limit.
Found a Second key for the Yakima gear. Price reduced to $100
Price reduced for the set of (4) Thule bars to $50
Hey guys, trying to "thin the herd", the listed prices are negotiable

Do you have room to store it if you take it apart?

I remove it every year after the April rains die down and put it back on after Halloween. I just hate hard tops. I like soft tops. If it is nice out I can just roll up the sides or take the soft top down. I've had soft top Jeeps since I was 16 years old. So easy to be topless on a nice January day. This is my first 40 and I'm not digging' the hard top at all.
I hear you... I've been "restoring" my hard top for the last 20 years and it's never been back on since I took it off in August 1997.
