yup, by the time we drove the 40 some 20 miles, including highway, all weights were lost except one on the driver front tire and the spare

got the installers to rectify with what they should have used in the first place: the stick-on weights
didn't prevent me from wheeling it afterall

this is the fin with the hole I fell into with the LX some 6 weeks ago - you can still see the hole I made towards the driver side off that fin
the next trip was two day later - only few pics since I was in the front and the relevant camera in the back of the group - the most exciting situation was when I had to spot myself down a 3 ft. waterfall in the creek all by myself (since the group decided to search for an Indian ruin, and hubby Michael had already proceeded way onwards)

- so, I got out of the truck, walked around to see whether I had missed a turn-off onto a bank (this is how creek crossings typically go around these places), couldn't find any other tracks than on the rocks right into the waterfall . . . - which Michael told me later, he had backed out of

- so I went and fetched a big tree limb to probe water depth (since it's typically quite deep right after a big rock, and it was . . . ) - there were some solid shelf rocks on the passenger side each about a foot higher than the other, but since I hate off-cambers, I decided I wasn't going to take those (as I later learned, even the longer wheelbase 80s didn't

) - so I carefully drove the waterfall towards the dropoff, and then became confident that straight down was going to work, and it did -
another little excitement came in this sluice on the way out (had bypassed it going in, but the off-camber on the bypass looked worse in the opposite direction) - greater excitement for the 80s than me - my new tires did awesome
