Yeah, I hope it's true and I hope that it's not the same Cummins they are thinking in this article. At only 300hp, seems a bit "small". But, yes, I may be trading the 2014 Tundra a bit sooner than anticipated.

The baby diesels confuse me in full size trucks like this...

Put a 5.9 in it haha

Definitely a scenario of second model year purchase for me...
Let them work out the bugs, get feedback on first one.
I'd really like to see them develop their own

The biggest thing about these articles is that they really don't have much to go on, mostly speculation. Cause the first thing I saw was the Frontier not the Titan with the cummins. So I'm still hopeful that they will bump up output a bit

How about a Taco/4runner with that 5 liter turbo diesel, that would be something :)

Landcruiser with a 5.0 Litre Deisel!!! WOOOHOOO

I think toyota needs to come out with a 3/4 ton or 1 ton with a powerful diesel instead of stuffing one in the tundra. It's probably going to drive the price of them up to be comparable to a mid grade diesel 3/4 ton chevy or ford anyway.

Guys! Diesels are not about horse power. Its all about torque! I could give a crap about how much horse power my diesel truck has, but the more torque.... the better.

Diesel is not a fragrance - just sayin'

you'd know what I am talkin' about if you had been in an open 40 and had to follow an HJsome80thing all day on Golden Spike in Moab :bang:

so yeah, no diesel in this here household anytime soon :ban:

Its not only the full size trucks, the Tacoma is going to have competition when GM releases the US Duramax Colorado and Canyon's.

Someone is apparently out to get the iceberg FJs

Got rear ended on way home today.
I was pulling my trailer though so only real damage is to hitch on trailer and receiver of the truck

Ouch! Glad y'all are ok. How bad does the trailer look? That vehicle that hit you looks tore up pretty good.
