Haven’t started yet - also tried to start the truck this weekend and found out I’d left the keys in the ignition and killed the battery. Glad I found that out before Thursday night! Got what’s left of my fender flare at least temporarily bolted back on. Minor progress but I still need to find/dust off my camping gear.

I got the heat/defrost and wipers working after changing the tub a couple of years ago. After checking the weather forecast, that was probably a timely fix.

Looks like I'm bringing the top inside to warm up. It looks only to be showers and hopefully the forecast changes for the better in the next few days.

I am still working on mine! It has not moved under hits own power in about a month. It does start and run but has not left the shop. I am having to re-think this no top thing as well. I will be burning the midnight oil the next few days.

10 days! I'll post this over in Keystone's forum but I see a lot of those guys here - Anyone coming from up north that wants a super questionable FJ40 chasing them? The plan is to drive this thing 160 miles to Gore, drag it across some rocks and drive it home - but it's always less of a white-knuckle experience if there's a bail out vehicle.

For those folks wanting to do green trails - sign me up.

Question for those of us who get 3MPG off-road - is there gas available locally or should I plan on loading myself down with extra gas cans?

When/Where are you leaving from? I’ll be heading down from NJ in my trail rig sometime Thursday

Unfortunately I’m planning to head down on Friday morning - probably early if everything goes to plan. Appreciate the offer though! I’m at the very northern tip of MD, exit 100 off I-95. Garage is open/tools available to you or anyone else coming from the north on Thursday if something goes sideways.

As long as my plan works out I will be ready to leave the house around 12:00-1:00 Thursday.
I’m only 20 min away.

FYI there is an ice machine in the parking lot of Tractor Supply. Around $2.00 to fill a cooler.

Spare tire carrier bracket needs a little modification to fit the new wheel. There's a sleeve that I need to cut off. Figured if anyone is bringing one to FC I can just do it then.
